BADLANDS Is a 6-Piece Funk/RnB Band based in and around Bath & Bristol, U.K.

✦ The project sets out from the get-go to fuse the vibrant power of classic Motown with the assertive grit & rhythmic flow of 90’s Hip/Hop whilst still drawing lyrical influence from Rappers of the modern era.

✦ Their content is based upon the trappings, misconceptions, and dual-perspective narratives of modern-day dating.

Lead by Frontman & Singer/songwriter Jake Gooding -the combination of his catchy, heartfelt lyrics alongside the band’s explosive chemistry & raw musical ability makes for an immersive experience.
